Final Project
Artist's Statement:
This is my Alter-Ego.
The objects are iconically "Kate".
What would your alter-ego do with the things that represent you?
This project was the most fun I have ever had in a photo-shoot. I chose to work with someone that I knew very well. Jami was the perfect model because she takes direction super well and I have photographed her many times. I wanted the idea of her playing my alter-ego to be conceptual and not too literal. In some of the pictures she is doing the exact opposite of what I woud do and in others she is just doing something slightly different. I learned a lot about lighting and tried to apply some of the things we used in past assignments. Overall my photography changed dramatically because of this class and I am glad for the opportunity to continue learning.
